Arch Pain

Arch of Foot

The arch of the foot is the central area of the foot’s bottom, between the ball and heel.

Causes of Arch Pain

There are two main causes of arch pain:

  • Plantar Fasciitis (an inflammatory condition in the fascia connecting the front and back of the foot)

  • Over Pronation (how the foot moves)

There are also other possible causes of arch pain, such as:

  • Cavus Foot

  • Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction

  • Flat Feet (aka Fallen Arches)

Lake Sammamish Foot & Ankle has the latest technology in digital x-ray, saving you cost and time. If a high resolution x-ray is needed for diagnosing your arch pain, it can usually be performed and interpreted in the very same visit.

Dr. Richardson has an extensive background in figuring out arch pain. To determine the root cause of your arch pain, please call us to schedule an office visit.
